Greetings from my room – Grüsse aus meinem Zimmer

Inspired by Xavier de Maistre’s book “A Journey around my Room’, the project attempts to make people look at the immediate space around them in detail, and re-discover it. I asked different people to send me a postcard from their room, creating the front image and writing about what makes their room special. In this process people were animated to look at the things in their immediate vicinity again, as it as if they go to a new place.
