Postcard, 200mm x 130mm.
This is a response to a brief set by the Dutch publisher Onomatopee. Graphic designers were asked to rethink the alphabet and its pre-defined letterforms to produce ‘One classless K’, which could be of any medium. This character is made up of capital K’s of eleven different typefaces. These were chosen from and represent each class in the Type Classification by the British Standards Institution, 1967.
